Taking inspiration from the adventures of our favourite sub-zero heroes, this curriculum-linked learning programme is designed to promote learning engagement, teamwork and develop discussion about the growing importance of environmental sustainability, the threats and challenges faced by the animal world, and how creatures from the ice age were impacted by changes to their habitats.Ice Age’s favorite sabre-tooth squirrel, Scrat, is at it again in an all-new adventure! A mysterious mechanism in an ancient Scratazon Temple, has locked away his prized possession – and the only way to get it back is an epic quest to find four legendary Crystal Nuts, scattered across the land. Students will develop their scientific vocabulary, discuss key issues relating to environmental sustainability and will also receive further engaging activities, including a story-building exercise to plan a new adventure for Crash and Eddie, two of the key characters from the film. Throughout the journey, the resource offers key curricular links to science, English/literacy, PSHE and art and design.
